TGIF!

Well, one week post wisdom teeth extraction and my face is still swollen and bruised. Thank goodness this is only a one time thing! I spent a lot of time on my couch this past week, so here’s some stuff that kept me entertained!

The White House asked to borrow a van Gogh. The Guggenheim offered a gold toilet instead. YAS!

If you have Netflix, definitely check out Grace and Frankie, starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin. I watched all four seasons last weekend…

I’m currently in grad school, and this semester I’m taking an Applied Corporate Responsibility Class. The first class was extremely informative, but it certainly put me in a somber mood. I recommend checking out THIS video about Rachel Carson’s Silent Spring.

I missed the Women’s March (in Boston) last weekend because of my surgery, which bummed me out. I’m not really familiar with Halsey, but she recited a poem she wrote, “A Story like Mine,” at the NYC Women’s March, and it was amazing. You can watch it, HERE.

I’m a huge Gilmore Girls fan, and I freaked out when I saw a Dragonfly Inn key tag available on Amazon. My mom saw mine and now she wants one!

I also just bought a few copies of Women’s Libation!: Cocktails to Celebrate a Woman’s Right to Booze for some birthdays coming up. Also bought a copy for myself…

Just pinned this list of 38 gluten free cookie recipes. I’ve only used my mixer twice in the year I’ve had it, so maybe I’ll make some cookies this weekend!

I just started using Verb’s Volume Spray, and I really like it. I have really fine hair, and it’s definitely been making it more voluminous! Bonus – it’s cruelty free.

Have a great weekend! Now that my semester has started, I’ll be reading and doing homework. And, hopefully making cookies!
